3. Move During the Day Without Making Bedtime a Fitness Test

You do not have to exhaust yourself to earn a decent night’s sleep. Regular physical activity can support better sleep, and an approachable routine is more useful than an ambitious workout you abandon after three days. Walking, cycling, swimming, or adapted seated exercise can all be ways to move.
Start with a manageable amount and work it into an existing part of the day. A short walk at lunch or a few movement breaks can make the routine easier to repeat. If you already exercise, pay attention to timing: a hard late session leaves some people feeling too alert to settle down afterward.
That does not mean every evening workout is a problem. If late exercise seems to interfere with your sleep, move the harder work earlier and see whether it helps. Choose activity that suits your abilities and health. The goal is regular movement that fits your life, rather than using a punishing session as an emergency remedy for tonight.
