Allergic attacks can cause runny noses and quite a lot of sneezing. However if your mucus is green in color, then you are not suffering from allergies. Green mucus is a sign of bacteria in your nasal passages, which can be a sign of a potentially worse problem. If there are enough bacteria in your nose to turn mucus green, then it’s much more than allergies. It may be a common cold, or even a sinus infection.
