8. It Means Different Things for Both the North Pole and South Pole
Due to the tilt in Earth’s axis of rotation, both the North Pole and South Pole experience different and dramatic seasonal swings. The spring season means different things in term of sunlight for both Poles. With the arrival of spring, a person living in North Pole will see the sun moving fast across the horizon, signaling six months of uninterrupted sunlight, whereas a person in the South Pole will experience the same, but it will signal six months of night.
