Church of Our Lady Mary of Zion, Ethiopia
Some scholars find it hard to believe, but this church is supposedly where the chest that holds the Ten Commandments, called the Ark of the Covenant, resides. Only one person is allowed to look at the Ark: a guardian monk that is appointed by a predecessor.
The church goes back all the way to the 4th century AD and also holds the remains of Tekle Giyorgis I, the former Emperor of Ethiopia.
