It is interesting to note also that the numbers keep getting revised downward – 2Q 2011 numbers are not as good as first reported. And QE3 is looming . . . yikes.Yet my world (higher education philanthropy) seems to be doing really well and I am engaged daily with very optimistic people. Anecdotal, I know – but the optimism is infectious. Sometimes difficult to reconcile the ‘bad news’ with the outpouring of generosity that I see daily.
