The Largest Note Ever Printed Was $10,000.00.
Created in 1918, the $10,000 bill was the largest paper note ever created by the U.S. Treasury. It was discontinued in 1969 and featured the portrait of Salmon P. Chase on the front with an embarkation of Pilgrims on the back. Chase was the Secretary of the Treasury from 1861-1864. There are five copies of the bill in government control currently, with an unknown number of $10,000 held privately. It is estimated to be worth six-figures or higher.
