Four of the first five presidents were born in Virginia, and eight total were born in the state. Seven presidents were born in Ohio. William Henry Harrison, who was born in Virginia, lived most of his adult life in Ohio. It is where he served as a U.S. representative and in Congress in Ohio and was elected to President while living there. But nonetheless, he was born in Virginia.
