The United States takes its flag colors seriously. In accordance with the CAUS Standard Color Reference of America, the official colors of the United States Flag are “Old Glory Red”, “White” and “Old Glory Blue”. These colors were officially adopted in 1946 and only apply officially to flags produced for government use.
