Some of the world’s most guarded secrets are those that are about religion. And of those guarded secrets the most important are the Vatican Archives. Inside the vaults of the Vatican are centuries of secrets, including letters, accounting paperwork, and state papers. Some people believe the Vatican holds evidence of extraterrestrials, demons, and the church’s supposed contributions to fascism in the mid-20th century.
The only people allowed into the archives are educators and qualified scholars, and they’re only allowed in after strict review. If you’re like so many people that just want to take a little look, don’t even think about it. It’ll never happen.
