7. Fallout Power Armor: Wear the Wasteland

Fallout power armor is less an outfit than a statement of intent. The whole attraction is the fantasy of becoming a heavily protected figure built for a hostile world. This Brotherhood of Steel costume was photographed at Dragon Con in 2017, bringing one of the game’s most recognizable ideas into an ordinary convention setting.
The design has to suggest more than a person wearing protective pads. Power armor should feel like a complete machine surrounding the body, with a consistent relationship between the helmet, shoulders, torso, and limbs. That visual unity is what separates a convincing interpretation from a collection of unrelated pieces.
As Halloween inspiration, it offers a different flavor of intimidation from a supernatural monster. The character belongs to a ruined future rather than a haunted house. You could put this concept beside zombies, robots, or other wasteland survivors and it would still have its own unmistakable presence. It is a costume for making the doorway feel smaller.
