39. Deep Purple
Deep Purple is another one of those bands that we have likely heard a thousand times. Many of us, however, likely haven’t realized that it’s Deep Purple we’ve been hearing. And what song, mind you, have we likely heard?
That song is none other than Smoke on the Water. The distinctive guitar riff is something taught to all children fresh to guitar lessons (yes, that included me). Anyways, this song, as well as many others, has placed Deep Purple as a classic that all should know.
