When you socialize, you increase your sense of belonging. It makes you feel safe and important and this vastly improves your mental health. You aren’t meant to spend all your time alone. Even a quick interaction with someone can improve your mood and help you avoid feelings of loneliness.
Fitting these things into your schedule might seem difficult, but they don’t need to take up too much of your time. You can make adjustments to your current schedule and even overlap these habits with other things. Making time to take care of yourself will vastly improve your physical, mental, and emotional health.
