With 12 Academy Award nominations, Nicholson is the most nominated male actor in the Academy’s history! Nicholson is also one of only three male actors to actually win three Academy Awards.He has won six Golden Globe Awards, received the Kennedy Center Honor, and was one of the youngest actors to be awarded the American Film Institute’s Life Achievement Award.
