The cast also includes Marjoe Gortner, Caroline Munro, Christopher Plummer, David Hasselhoff and Joe Spinell. In it, “An outlaw smuggler and her alien companion are recruited by the Emperor of the Galaxy to rescue his son and destroy a secret weapon by the evil Count Zarth Arn.”
The film wasn’t exactly well-received. The Monthly Film Bulletin for example, noted the film had “mediocre special effects and a clumsily protracted finale”, and also stated it “intermittently achieves a kind of lunatic appeal as it lurches pell-mell from one casually fabricated climax to the next.”
