8. It can’t be too cold to snow.

There is a popular myth that it can be too cold to snow. While there is some coloration between temperature and amount of snow, it can snow at any temperature below zero except absolute zero.
Most heavy snowfall happens when the temperature is 15F or above. When it gets colder, the air gets more dry and holds less water vapor. So when the temperature is in the single digits heavy snow is unlikely, but some snow is always possible.
